New York native Anthony Scotto brings 20 years gardening experience to his work.  Passionate from a young age about growing vegetables, Anthony honed his craft through both formal botanical training and work with landscape architects and garden designers.  In 2007, he completed the intensive horticulture internship program at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and in 2008 earned his Certificate in Horticulture, completing coursework that included Urban Garden Design, Botany, Soil Management, Plant Identification, and Integrated Pest Management.  In addition to the services offered through Scotto di Perta Gardens, Anthony installs and maintains rooftop gardens, terraces, and front/backyards on a freelance basis for various New York City-based designers.
